Your conference leader for “Risk Assessments & Real-Life Findings” is Deirdre Ashby, AAP. Deirdre is a payments education specialist for ePayResources. She helps plan and create relevant presentations and materials, organizes and delivers training classes, workshops, webinars and other training services, that enable employees to improve their skills and knowledge. Her goal is to deliver training that excites and motivates participants to use new skills.
Deirdre has a love for training and a passion for helping others to learn and grow, with a willingness to explore different ways and techniques of reaching people. Her training career began as a member of the Training & Strategic Development team for CIGNA corporation where she created, administered, and delivered training programs for the healthcare organization. Her final task included a two month stay in Dubuque, Iowa, to train a newly purchased division of employees and ensure management and staff were maximally equipped to achieve optimal job performance and productivity.
Deirdre’s strength comes from her unique ability to use her business experiences to understand the knowledge and skills her participants need to increase their performance and productivity. To gain that business experience in the payments industry, Deirdre worked as a teller, a customer services representative, and a specialist in deposit operations, prior to joining ePayResources in 2017.
Deirdre attained her Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation in 2016 and is preparing to continue her accreditations by pursuing the National Check Professional (NCP) designation and the Accredited Payments Risk Professional designation (APRP). She has attended the University of Connecticut, where she was enrolled in the School of Sciences, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry.
